Announcing our MC and official stage host for Vancouver Fetish Weekend 2025, KARLA MARX, the First Comrade of Your Heart!
Karla is the mother of the Marx Werk Ware Haus, a board member of Cabaret Calgary, and performs drag, burlesque, and stand-up comedy across Canada and the world. She has hosted or performed at the Amsterdam Burlesque Festival, the Hollywood Burlesque Festival, the Winnipeg International Burlesque Festival, the Kootenay Burlesque Festival, and hosted the First Japanese International Burlesque Festival in Kobe, Japan in November 2024.
Karla was voted Best Host by Imperial Burlesque Canada in 2022 and 2024, placed second in the Draglesque category, and won Most Comedic Burlesque in 2023 and 2024. She released her first stand-up comedy album, Well Okay Then in August 2023, available on Spotify and Apple Music. Her second album will be released in Spring 2025. She was featured in Comedy Invasion, a comedy TV showcase available on Tubi and Amazon Prime (US). She has also performed at the Alaska B4UDIE Comedy Festival in 2024.

WEEKEND PASS UPDATE – Weekend passes have been selling at an all-time record rate, and the Fetish Cruise on Sunday is now OVER 90% sold out and going fast! Note that the only way to get access to this party is through a VIP Weekend Pass + Cruise ticket!
Please note – there are no single day VIP or priority entry passes, single day tickets are all regular entry. The only way to get VIP / priority entry is through having a weekend pass, which gives priority entry over single day ticket holders and at-the-door ticket purchasers.

About Kurage Latex:
Established in 2005, Kurage opened a shop in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, subsequently holding shows in Montreal, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Munich, quickly garnering international attention and a reputation for staging incredible in-person fashion moments, as well as winning Best Fetish Fashion Design two years in a row at the European Fetish Awards in 2015 & 2016.
Led by chief designer Kid’O, the abundance of colors, structures and details which can be seen in all of Kurage’s inventive creations is simply unparalleled, fusing ancient and traditional elements with modern concepts, to create cutting edge latex creations.
This show is set to bring the runway element of the main event at Vancouver Fetish Weekend to new heights and is simply NOT TO BE MISSED!

The Thursday night Meet & Greet is always such a special vibe, as kinksters from around the world reconnect after not seeing each for some time, and there’s always a crazy high spirited energy as the club fills up! Even though there’s no dress code at this event, and many people literally have arrived in the city and checked into the hotel just an hour or two before the party or even DURING the party, we love that tons of people still dress up even for this shoulder night to the weekend! The outfits just get more and more dialled every year, even on the CASUAL night! Why miss the opportunity to show off another outfit, right?
The daytime Fetish Walk on Saturday is also always a great and casual vibe! There is strength in numbers and our big group of kinksters always causes a stir along the way, until the ending point where we meet up at the pub takeover on Davie Street in Vancouver’s Gay Village of the West End. There’s always some completely unexpected moments along the way … in this case, when we arrived at the Art Gallery steps, which is a popular destination for groups of all types to talk photos, there was a wedding party taking photos. We stayed discreetly off to the side until they had finished, but once they had moved on and we then assembled our big group on the steps, the bride and groom came rushing back and asked if they could take photos with everyone. Now THOSE are some golden wedding photos that come with a story!
